Sarah Beth Glicksteen is a freelance multimedia journalist from Jacksonville, Fla. She speaks English and French and is available for assignment worldwide.
She graduated from Boston University's University Professors Program in 2009 with a BA/MA in Multimedia Journalism and Cultural Studies.
She has worked for The New York Times, the Concord Monitor, The Christian Science Monitor, the Tribune-Review, and the Florida Times-Union. Her work has been recognized by the National Press Photographers Association, and she received the Golden Scarf Award at the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop in Istanbul, Turkey.
She has experience working as a photo editor for a daily newspaper, a weekly magazine, and a news website; conducting academic photo research; managing and archiving historic photographic collections; leading qualitative interviews for research studies; and teaching and mentoring at-risk youth.
She enjoys collaborating, meeting deadlines, riding bikes, CouchSurfing, playing soccer, hosting potlucks, working with teens, meeting new people and learning new things.
